The bristles
High-grade, PETA-approved Taklon. Ultrasoft, fully vegan, and a good alternative if animal hair irritates your skin. The handles are weighted metal, which is what gives you control at the tip.
Caring for them
Lukewarm water and a gentle soap, always with the bristles pointing down so water never reaches the glue inside the ferrule. Reshape while damp and dry flat with the bristles over the edge of a counter.
Wash weekly for anything used with liquids or creams, every two to three weeks for powder.
