Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow Foundation Brush

A slanted foundation brush built to work the way fingertips do - pressing product into the skin rather than sweeping it across. Held in our Ontario studio and shipped free across Canada.

What it does

The head is cut on an angle and packed flat. The broad face buffs foundation through the middle of the face, and the slanted edge reaches the places a round brush skids over - the sides of the nose, under the eyes, along the jaw. You build coverage in passes instead of laying it all down at once.

The bristles

Vegan fibres, densely packed and cut to a custom shape so they hold their edge. Synthetic fibres do not drink the product the way natural hair does, so more foundation ends up on your face and less inside the brush. The handle is bronze metal, weighted so the brush sits steady in your hand.

How to use it

After primer, place foundation in the centre of the face and blend outward. Buff gently and keep building until you have the coverage you want. It works with any liquid or cream complexion product.

Caring for it

Lukewarm water and a gentle soap, always with the bristles pointing down so water never reaches the glue inside the ferrule. Reshape while damp and dry flat with the bristles over the edge of a counter. Wash it weekly, since it is used with liquids.
